Torani Mixed Berry Shortcakes with Orgeat (Almond) Whipped Cream
Ingredients:
Berries
1/2 cup Torani Blackberry syrup
3 pints mixed berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, and/or blackberries)
Shortcake
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tbsp. sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
8 Tbsp. butter, chilled and cut into pieces
3/4 cup heavy cream
Orgeat Whipped Cream:
1/4 cup Torani Orgeat (Almond) syrup
3 cups whipping cream
Instructions
Preheat the over to 450 F. Slice the strawberries and mix with the rest of the berries and the Blackberry syrup. Set aside. Mix the flour, salt, baking powder, and sugar in a food processor. Add the butter and pulse until the mixture resembles cornmeal. While pulsing, add all but 1 tablespoon of cream. Turn out onto a floured surface and press the dough together. Roll out to a thickness of 1/2 inch and cut circles with a biscuit cutter. Brush the tops with the remaining cream and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, or until golden brown. To serve, whip the whipping cream to soft peaks and mix in the Orgeat syrup. Split the biscuits and fill with the berries and the flavored whipped cream.
Notes: This colorful dessert would be equally welcome at a seated diner or a backyard barbecue.

1-750 ml bottle Torani Blackberry syrup
1-750 ml bottle Torani Strawberry syrup
1-750 ml bottle Torani blueberry syrup
9-750 ml bottles water
Add ingredients to your commercial granita machine and freeze according to manufacturers instructions.

Iced Tea
Torani Black Cherry Iced Tea
3/4 oz. (1 1/2 Tbsp.) Torani Cherry syrup
1/4 oz. (1 1/2 tsp.) Torani Blackberry syrup
8 oz. (1 cup) brewed tea, chilled (black tea is a good choice)
1 cup ice
1 Bing cherry, or lemon wedge for garnish
Fill a 12-ounce glass with ice and add the tea. Stir in the syrups and garnish with the cherry, or lemon wedge. Serving/Yield: 1-12oz.

Torani Blackberry Iced Lemonade Tea
4 oz. (1/2 cup) brewed black tea, chilled
4 oz. (1/2 cup) lemonade
1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) Torani Blackberry syrup
Fill a 16-oz. glass 3/4 full with ice. Add tea, lemonade and Torani and stir.
Notes: 8 oz. (1 cup) Torani syrup 32 oz. (4 cups) brewed black tea, chilled 32 oz. (4 cups) lemonade Serves 8-10

Torani Fruited Almond Tea
3/4 oz. (1 1/2 Tbsp.) Torani Cherry syrup
1/4 oz. (1/2 Tbsp.) Torani Blackberry syrup
1/4 oz. (1 1/2 tsp.) Torani Orgeat (Almond) syrup
8 oz. (1 cup) brewed tea, chilled
Ice
Sprig of mint, for garnish
Fill a 12-ounce glass with ice and add tea. Stir in syrups and garnish with mint. Serving/Yield: 1-12oz.

Torani Mango Caribe Iced Tea
1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) Torani Mango syrup
1/4 oz. (1 1/2 tsp.) Torani Blackberry syrup
1/4 oz. (1 1/2 tsp.) Torani Apricot syrup
Ice
8 oz. (1 cup) brewed tea, chilled
Slice of Mango, for garnish
Fill a 12-ounce glass with ice and add tea. Stir in the syrups and garnish with the mango slice. Serving/Yield: 1-12oz.

Torani Sparkling Blackberry "Lemonade" Soda
1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) Torani Lemon syrup
1/4 oz. (1 1/2 tsp.) Torani Blackberry syrup
8 oz. (1 cup) sparkling water or club soda
Fill a 16-oz. glass about 3/4 full with ice. Add water and Torani and stir well to blend flavors. Yields 1 16-oz. drink.

Torani Triple Berry Soda
1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) Torani Raspberry syrup
1/4 oz. (1 1/2 tsp.) Torani Strawberry syrup
1/4 oz. (1 1/2 tsp.) Torani Blackberry syrup
8 oz. (1 cup) sparkling water or club soda
Fill a 16-oz. glass about 3/4 full with ice. Add water and Torani and stir well to blend flavors. Garnish with a fresh strawberry. Yields 1 16-oz. drink.

Mocktails
Layered Berry Juice
4 tsp. Frusia Mixed Berry
4 tsp. Torani Blackberry syrup
4 tsp. orange juice
8 oz. club soda or sparkling water
optional fresh berries or mint leaf for garnish
Add Frusia to the bottom of a 16-oz. glass. Fill the glass with ice, then slowly pour in the syrup so it layers on top of the Frusia. Slowly add the orange juice, taking care to maintain the layers. Finally add the soda water to fill (again, slowly to keep the layered effect of the drink). Garnish with fresh berries or a mint leaf.

Layered Berry Tea
4 tsp. Frusia Mixed Berry
4 tsp. Torani Blackberry syrup
4 tsp. chilled unsweetened tea
8 oz. club soda or sparkling water
optional fresh berries or mint leaf for garnish
Add Frusia to the bottom of a 16-oz. glass. Fill the glass with ice, then slowly pour in the syrup so it layers on top of the Frusia. Slowly add the tea, taking care to maintain the layers. Torani Blackberry Sauce
Ingredients
1/2 cup Torani Blackberry syrup
1/2 cup pint blackberries
1/2 cup chopped red onion
1 clove garlic, chopped
1 tsp. paprika
Pinch of nutmeg
Pinch of salt
Instructions
Combine the ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 20 minutes. Let cool. Purée in a blender and strain.
Notes: This makes a delicious sauce for roast duck or wild game.

Summer Fruit Smoothie
2 cups ice
2 oz. Frusia Peach
1/2 oz. Torani Blackberry syrup
4 oz. milk
Combine all ingredients in a blender pitcher and blend until smooth. Yields 1 16-oz. drink.

Torani Banana Bramble Smoothie- Dairy Alternative
3/4 oz. (1 1/2 Tbsp.) Torani Black Currant Syrup
3/4 oz. (1 1/2 Tbsp.) Torani Blackberry Syrup
1/2 cup low fat soy milk
1/4 cup silken tofu
1 tsp. honey
1/2 banana
1 1/2 cups ice
In a blender pitcher, combine all ingredients and blend until smooth. Serving/Yield: 1-16oz.

Torani Cool Berry Smoothie
1 oz. ( 2 Tbsp.) Torani Strawberry syrup
1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) Torani Blackberry syrup
4 oz. (1/2 cup) apple juice
3-4 strawberries
2 cups ice
Add ingredients to blender and blend until smooth.

Torani Triple Berry
1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) Torani Cherry syrup
1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) Torani Blackberry syrup
1 1/2 cups ice
2 oz. (1/4 cup) plain yogurt
4 oz. (1/2 cup) low-fat milk
2 oz. (1/4 cup) fresh raspberries
Combine the ice, yogurt, milk syrups and raspberries in a blender and blend until smooth. Serving/Yield: 1-16oz.
Notes: You can substitute milk for the yogurt.
