Torani Melon Soup
1 cup Torani Melon syrup
1 cup fresh orange juice
1 tsp. orange zest
1 Tbsp. cornstarch dissolved in 1/4 cup water
4 cups chopped honeydew melon
chopped mint leaves for garnish
Heat the Torani Melon syrup, orange juice and orange zest in a small saucepan. Add the cornstarch mixture and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and strain to remove orange zest. Let cool. In a blender or food processor, puree juice mixture with chopped melon. Chill again and serve ice cold topped with mint.

Cocktails
Torani Jamaica Juice
3 oz. (6 Tbsp.) Torani Melon syrup
1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) Malibu rum
1/2 fresh banana
juice of 1/2 lime
1 1/2 cups ice
Combine all ingredients in a blender pitcher and blend until smooth. Serving/Yield: 1-16 oz.

Torani Melon Margarita
1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) Torani Melon syrup
1 cup ice
3 oz. (6 Tbsp.) Margarita mix
1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) tequila
Combine all ingredients in a blender pitcher and blend until smooth. Serving/Yield: 1-16 oz.

Ice Cream/Sorbet
Torani Melon Sorbet
2 cups Torani Melon syrup
1-1/2 cups diced honeydew melon
1 cup water
1/8 tsp. Chinese 5-spice powder
Puree all ingredients in a blender. Chill well, then freeze in an ice cream maker according to manufacturer’s instructions.
Notes: Torani Melon adds flavor and brilliant color to this refreshing sorbet. It may be served as a palate cleanser between courses or as a light dessert with crisp almond cookies.

Torani Classic Melon Soda
1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) Torani Melon syrup
8 oz. (1 cup) sparkling water or club soda
Fill a 16 oz. glass about 3/4 full with ice. Add water and Torani and stir. Garnish with a lime slice. Yields 1 16-oz. drink.

Torani Melon Medley
1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) Torani Melon syrup
1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) Torani Lemon syrup
1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) Torani Raspberry syrup
8 oz. (1 cup) sparkling water or club soda
In a 16-oz. glass about 3/4 full with ice, add water, Torani and stir. Yields 1 16-oz. drink.

Torani Tropical Melon Soda
1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) Torani Melon syrup
Splash Torani Mango syrup
8 oz. (1 cup) sparkling water or club soda
Fill a 16-oz. glass about 3/4 full with ice. Add water and Torani and stir well to blend flavors. Garnish with a slice of fresh fruit and a sprig of mint. Yields 1 16-oz. drink.

Salsa
Torani Melon Salsa
1/4 cup Torani Melon syrup
2 cups (1lb.) diced cantaloupe, honeydew, or crenshaw melon
1/2 cup diced red onion
1/4 cup diced sweet red pepper
1/2 a jalapeno pepper, finely minced
1/4 cup chopped cilantro
2 Tbsp. lime juice
1/2 tsp. salt
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and serve.
Notes: While the melons are an unusual choice for salsa, the combination is mouthwatering. A mix of orange and green melons make it especially colorful. Serve alongside huevos rancheros, with grilled fish or poultry, or in fish tacos.

Shaker Drinks
Melon Madness
1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) Torani Watermelon syrup
1/2 oz. (1 Tbsp.) Torani Melon syrup
8 oz. (1 cup) sparkling water
1 cup ice
Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker. Shake gently just to blend. Serving/Yield: 1-16 oz.

Smoothies
Torani Kiwi Pleaser
1 oz. (2 Tbsp.) Torani Kiwi syrup
2 oz. (1/4 cup) Torani Melon syrup
2 cups ice
2 oz. (1/4 cup) plain yogurt
2 oz. (1/4 cup) low-fat milk
1 kiwi, peeled
kiwi slice, for garnish
Combine the ice, yogurt, milk, syrups, and kiwi in a blender and blend until smooth. Garnish each with a kiwi slice. Serving/Yield: 1-16oz.
Notes: You can substitute milk for the yogurt.

2 1/2 oz. (5 Tbsp.) Torani Melon syrup
1 1/2 cup ice
8 oz. (1 cup) orange juice
Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth. Serving/Yield: 1-16oz.
